Saints+Council, the Midtown Atlanta restaurant and bar, is headed to Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, with a target opening late in the first half of 2027.
Spur Hospitality, the Atlanta-based restaurant group behind the concept, signed a lease for the Perimeter Mall space earlier this year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle first reported in April. The timeline and portfolio details were confirmed Sept. 30 when ToNeTo Atlanta reported a separate Spur Hospitality expansion — a second Cuevacía location at the Lulah Hills development in Decatur — and described Saints+Council at Perimeter Mall as the group's fourth restaurant.
The expansion brings a second location of the restaurant that owner William Pitts opened at Colony Square in Midtown in December 2021. Pitts, an Atlanta native, owns Spur Hospitality. Since launching that first concept, the group has grown to four restaurants.
The Dunwoody location joins Cuevacía at Colony Square and the upcoming Cuevacía at Lulah Hills in Spur Hospitality's portfolio.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reported in April that construction on the Perimeter Mall space was expected to start in June and wrap by early 2027, with the Colony Square interior serving as design inspiration for the Dunwoody restaurant. The Sept. 30 ToNeTo Atlanta report places the opening target at late in the first half of 2027.
Spur Hospitality added to its leadership team in April when chef Ian Winslade, formerly of Mission + Market and Tre Vele, joined as managing partner and culinary director, Rough Draft Atlanta reported.
The lease adds to a stretch of new activity at Perimeter Mall. The mall is also working on a new food court it hoped to open by the end of 2026, though no firm date had been set as of late September. Mark Galvin, chief marketing and operating officer at Discover Dunwoody, captured the mood on the What's Up Dunwoody podcast on Sept. 29.
"Malls are back, right?" Galvin said during that episode, pointing to a wave of national coverage about mall revivals.
No details about the Saints+Council space's size or exact location within Perimeter Mall have been disclosed. Late in the first half of 2027 is the next public milestone.
