Italian café chain Rosetta Bakery opens its Dunwoody location at High Street on Saturday, Sept. 12, adding another restaurant to the mixed-use development near MARTA's Dunwoody station.
The bakery is at 120 High St., according to Discover Dunwoody. It will serve focaccia, pizza, sandwiches, pastries and artisanal coffee, according to Rough Draft Atlanta and the bakery's own website. The menu also features what the chain calls its "famous" Bombolone, an Italian filled doughnut.
Rosetta Bakery will offer grab-and-go options along with indoor and outdoor seating, according to a September 2024 Urbanize Atlanta report on the High Street tenant lineup.
Hoodline reported the Dunwoody location will feature an open kitchen and a 24-hour shelf-time policy for its baked goods.
The chain already operates locations in Miami Beach, Miami, Aventura, East Rutherford, N.J., and Bethesda, Md. The Dunwoody outpost was originally announced as the second metro Atlanta location, behind a planned store at Two Buckhead Plaza, though it is unclear whether the Buckhead location has opened.
Rosetta Bakery joins a growing tenant roster at High Street, the 36-acre development by GID Development Group at Perimeter Center Parkway and Hammond Drive. The project broke ground in November 2021 on what had been surface parking lots.
Varuni Napoli opened there Aug. 5. Other tenants include Puttshack, Velvet Taco, Nando's PERi-PERi, The Hampton Social, Cuddlefish, Agave Bandido, Ben & Jerry's and Sugarcoat.
High Street's first phase includes nine buildings with 598 apartments, 150,000 square feet of retail and 90,000 square feet of loft offices. More than half of the retail space had been leased and more than 300 residents were living there as of an August 2026 Urbanize Atlanta report.
GID senior vice president Ian Ward told Urbanize Atlanta in September 2024 that the developer had been assembling a mix of restaurants, shops and entertainment for the project.
Phase two is on pace to break ground in the fourth quarter of 2026, adding 300 more apartments, 40,000 square feet of offices and 80,000 square feet of retail. The full project is expected to cost $2 billion.
