Mayor John Park will deliver his State of the City Address on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Brookhaven City Centre, the Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce announced in its September events calendar published Monday, Aug. 17.
The address anchors a five-event Chamber lineup for the month, giving residents and business owners multiple chances to connect with city leaders and each other.
Park has been an active public voice on Brookhaven's direction. At the Atlanta Regional Commission's State of the Region event in October 2025, he spotlighted the Peachtree Creek Greenway and affordable housing initiatives, telling the audience, "We took the Peachtree Creek Greenway off the drawing board and built it within two years. In Brookhaven, we get things done, and get things done quickly."
The Sept. 24 address will take place at City Centre, 4001 Peachtree Road NE, which sits adjacent to the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe MARTA station and offers complimentary parking, according to Explore Brookhaven. The Chamber has not yet posted a start time or registration details.
September's schedule also includes a Police Chief's Award Luncheon on Wednesday, Sept. 9, honoring Brookhaven officers. The Chamber has not announced a venue.
The Chamber's Young Professionals group, known as YoPros, hosts a mixer titled "Escaping the Ordinary" on Wednesday, Sept. 16. The venue has not been announced.
