Brookhaven's Blackburn Park will host a free, eight-hour celebration of gospel music and African diaspora culture on Saturday, August 1, with a dozen performers and worship leaders taking the stage from noon to 8 p.m.
The Link Festival is billed as a global faith and culture experience open to all backgrounds. The park sits at 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road, less than two miles south of the Dunwoody city line, according to the city of Brookhaven's parks listing.
Lineup
Performers announced for the festival include Overflow Inc USA, Deborah Lukalu, Dare David, Avantii Uzor, DavidokeAGS, Ignition Room, Kunle Meshida, Oleesa Isaac, Prince Kissi, Wumi Abe, Wura Grant, and Victor Olayeni, according to the event's Eventbrite page and Atlanta on the Cheap.
Food vendors and family-friendly activities round out the day.
