Brookhaven families can watch "Zootopia 2" under the stars for free on Friday, July 24, when the City of Brookhaven hosts a community movie night at Lynwood Park.

The screening runs from 8 to 10 p.m. on the park's turf field at 3360 Osborne Road. Admission is free, and attendees should bring their own blankets or chairs.

The movie night is part of the city's Park and Recreation Month programming for July.

"In Brookhaven, we love our parks and appreciate the staff and volunteers that dedicate their time to making them the best they can be," Mayor John Park said in a July 1 city announcement marking the month.

Brookhaven's recreation and aquatics programs drew more than 60,000 visitors in 2025, according to the city's Parks and Recreation Department.

The city has not announced a rain plan for the screening. Residents should check brookhavenga.gov for updates before heading out.
